Closures
Occasionally the Cathedral, or parts of it, may need to close or only offer restricted access for
a service, special event or day to day maintenance. We try to minimise these periods as much as
we can, as we know that people travel long distances to visit us. As soon as we know about a
closure it will be posted below. Please remember to check for last minute changes prior to
your visit as some events, such as funerals, are only arranged at short notice.
1:45pm - 4:45pm 4th June 2013
Spire Crossing - concert rehearsal
- Visitors are welcome but there may be additional noise and the Spire Crossing will be restricted.
11:15am - 12:30pm 6th June 2013
Trinity Chapel
- There will be restricted access to the Trinity Chapel whilst Eucharist is taking place.
9:00am - 9:30am 7th June 2013
Cathedral Floor
- The Cathedral will open to visitors at 9.30am

- The Cathedral will open to visitors at 9.30am

Cathedral Floor: Main Nave
- The Catehdral will close to visitors at 3.30pm in preperation for a large ordination service.
The Chapter House, Restaurant and shop will be open as normal.
12:00pm - 12:30pm 30th June 2013
Cathedral Floor: Main Nave
- The Cathedral will not open until 12.30pm.
The Chapter House, Restaurant and shop will be open as normal.
