ART ACTIVITIES FOR CHILDREN IN AUGUST AT THE CATHEDRAL

Salisbury Cathedral is running a series of imaginative art and activity sessions on Wednesdays and Fridays throughout the month of August for families with younger children.


‘Young at Art’ – a range of theme-based art and craft workshops for children aged 5 – 7 years and 8 – 11 years

Fridays in August, 10am – 12 noon

£3.00 per child

‘Parents can enjoy a couple of hours to themselves knowing their children are enjoying a safe and friendly time learning new skills.’

sculpture and modelling

21st: Cathedral Treasures - papier maché

28th: Gold and Glitz -
decorative art



Family Discovery Days - exploration, solving clues, story telling, arts and crafts

Wednesdays in August between 11.00am and 3.30pm

£1.00 per family member


5th: Cathedral Oddities

12th: Mythical Beasts

19th: Hidden Angles

26th: Barnstorming Bishops!
