Verger
Salisbury Cathedral Verger
To be responsible, under the direction of the Head Verger, for the day to day management and administration of the Cathedral as a place of worship and as a venue for many other events and activities.
This role requires good communication, organisational and people skills, physical fitness and a sense of the value of well-ordered worship and its contribution to the Cathedrals wider ministry and outreach.
The successful candidate should be capable of working responsibly both independently and as part of a well-motivated team. This post will be subject to DBS clearance.

Visitor Welcomer
Part time 17.5 hrs pw over 5 days, fixed term, seasonal (June to September)
Post 1: Sunday Thursday
Post 2: Tuesday Saturday
Rate of pay: £6.77 per hour
The newly-created post of Visitor Welcomer will provide the first point of contact between the Cathedral and its many visitors during the busy summer season. The primary objective of a Welcomer will be to proactively make guests feel welcome and to ease their entry to the Cathedral or the Chapter House and Magna Carta.

PA to the Dean
We are seeking to recruit a Personal Assistant who can provide a confidential and professional service to the Dean.
The hours of work will be 8.30am - 4.30pm Monday to Friday and the salary for this permanent full time position will be between £20,000 - £22,000 depending on qualifications and experience.
