THE VERY REV KELVIN HOLDSWORTH TO PREACH AT SALISBURY CATHEDRAL

The Very Rev Kelvin Holdsworth will preach at the 10.30am Eucharist Service on Sunday 19 April 2009. The Very Rev Holdsworth was installed as Provost of St Mary's Episcopal Cathedral in Glasgow on 31 May 2006. Kelvin was previously Rector of St Saviour's Church, Bridge of Allan and a Chaplain to the University of Stirling. His post at Glasgow makes him the youngest of the Scottish Episcopal Church Provosts and at 42 one of the youngest senior members of the clergy in the UK. Prior to the appointment at Glasgow he was very much involved in serving the community of Stirling in issues of social justice both through the church and as a candidate in the General Election.
