Cathedral Visitors People coming to visit Salisbury Cathedral need to get a sense of its importance as a place of worship and not just a place of history and heritage according to those who oversee it. And while it needs visitors to help towards funding the costs of caring for it, none of the authorities at the Cathedral want people to lose sight of what it's really here for.
